Etsy, Bitsy, Monogram

I have loved my blackberry for almost a year now for keeping me connected

But now thanks to decalmonograms on Etsy I am not only connected, I am preppy

Hurry on over to decalmonograms on Etsy. She's having a buy 2 get on 1 free sale. That little baby only cost me $4. The service was fast and friendly. She has lots to choose from. I can't wait to do some more shopping!

Go on, you know you want one!

Prep Work

I've spent a good deal of this weekend pricing itens to sale at the annual neighborhood garage sale on Saturday. There's still a lot more to do. It got me wondering ~ why do we have so much stuff? I am hoping what has turned out to be our excess will soon be someone elses treasure.

The week to come

Had a great trip. The weather was wonderful, the scenery beautiful, and the company heart warming.

Putting the weekend aside, this week looks like it'll prove to be a busy one. A softball double header tomorrow night, school projects coming due for Lolly, the Kaiser Corporate Challenge, and who knows what else. Not to mention all the blog reading I've been doing. I loose myself reading other peoples interesting blogs. A whole new world to be exposed to. I love it!

Road Trippin to The Rocket City

Today I am hitting the road. My daughter has spent this past week, Fall Break, with her dad in Huntsville and I am going to pick her up. Normally we meet halfway and do a hand off but this weekend I am going for a visit. I am staying with my ex mother-in law and am excited to see my ex family and friends. It's been a long time since I've been to Huntsville. I am excited to see how the city has changed, where everyone is living since there has been a few moves, and just have a change of scenery.

I have enjoyed this week so much. Every night I came home and did nothing. No softball practice, no softball games, no girl scouts, no PSR, no homework review, no lunch to be made, heck no dinner to be made if I didn't want. Just nice peaceful silence. Is that bad to admit outloud?

Don't get me wrong, I am counting the minutes till I see MC. I laugh a lot less when she's not around. But I've learned to make the most of the time she spends with her dad. The one week breaks are hard though, I am just getting into the motherless groove and it comes to an abrupt end broken by non-stop tween chatter.

There's always something about a road trip that fills me with a sense of excitement. Maybe it's all the time you have to think while you are driving. Think of what was, what is, what can be.

It's abeautiful day for a drive. Nice Fall weather. The only down side is the current price of gas...

In the beginning

When I decided to start this blog today I had a million things I wanted to write about. Sitting here in front of the computer, I can't think of a damn one. So I'll just start with the basics.

I was born and raised in Indiana, now living outside Atlanta. When people here me speak they often say "you're not from around here are ya?"I am wife to Mister. We've been married 4 years this past July. There are many days I question what God was thinking when he matched us up but I go with it. I am Momma to a tween daughter who is wise beyond her years. Share a house with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a hermit crab. That's it in a nutshell.
