Icing on the Cake

Actually more like the frosting on the cupcake. Anyone know a good recipe for buttercream icing? I have one that is good for sugar cookies but I am looking for that hardcore sugary frosting you get on a cake from a bakery.

I would seriously kill for one of these babies right now.

    made 30 cupcakes for class
    made 30 cupcakes for soccer team
    ordered TWO birthday cakes
    in-laws sent TWO birthday cakes
    This was over a period of two birthdays in four days. Guess who's eating all the leftovers???
